The Experience events are one-day competitions where winners are crowned at each event. We keep entry simple, cover all compulsory licensing, and there’s no ticket minimum — just book what you need. With the success of Dance iDDEntity and a strong focus on safeguarding, you’re entering one of the fairest, most transparent competitions in the industry.

THE ESSENTIALS
Entry Requirements
ENTRIES
- No minimum number of entries
- Maximum 10 entries per show
- Minimum 5 performers per routine
- The 10 routines can be entered in any age section and any genre
GROUP SIZES
- Small group: 5–11 dancers
- Large group: 12+ (no maximum)
TIME LIMITS
- Small group: 4 min
- Large group: 5 min
- Extra performance time is available — details in the info pack.
Dance iDDEntity
All dancers & chaperones register with Dance iDDEntity — upload a passport or birth certificate once for verification. A card is only valid with your dance school’s logo on it.

THE FINE PRINT
Rules & Regulations

Your place isn’t secured until entry fees are paid.
- 2
If the event can’t run due to circumstances out of our control, fees are held as credit toward a future event.
- 3
If there aren’t enough entries for a show, producers may amalgamate, cancel or postpone.
- 4
All paperwork, music and entry fees must be submitted by the deadlines given or risk disqualification.
- 5
Dance in the age section of your oldest member; 25% of a team may be one year overage.
- 6
All music and content must be age-appropriate with no explicit language.
- 7
Perform at your own risk; stunts/acro/lifts allowed but done at the performer’s own risk.
- 8
Every routine is subject to our risk assessment; unmanageable-risk routines may be removed.
- 9
No talc, glitter or stage-prejudicing substances without prior consent.
- 10
Notify us of any props before the show.
- 11
All dancers must be Dance iDDEntity members and carry their card in case proof of age is requested; failure may result in disqualification.
- 12
Dancers must be accompanied by appropriate adults, preferably DBS-checked/registered chaperones; at some events this is compulsory.
- 13
Photography, videography or recording of any kind is strictly prohibited at all events.
Producer reserves the right to change, remove, amend or update the rules at any time.
